ye kamal mjh pe karam kia

wo jo ek chand sa harf tha
wo jo ek sham sa naam tha
wo jo ek phool c baat thi
osy gulistan ka pta dia
mera dil jo shehr e malal tha
osy roshni mai bsa dia
meri aankh aur khuwab ko
kisi ek pal mai baham kia
mere aaenon pe jo gard thi
maah o saal ki wo utar gae
sbhi khuwab sham o wasal k
osi ek pal mai chamak uthy
liye sath rang bahar k
mai jo chala sang e bahar k
to saja diye sbhi rasty
mere nam par mere wasty
meri beghari ko panah di
meri justaju ko nishan dia
jo yaqin se bhi haseen tha
mjhy ek aisa guman dia
wo jo reza reza wajood tha
osy ek nazar mai baham kia
